Chalet Almandine is located in the Haut Giffre valley in Verchaix (Haute Savoie) on a sunny slope. Close to Morillon and Samoëns, it provides very easy access to the Grand Massif ski slopes (265 km of slopes) connecting the winter sports resorts of Morillon, Samoëns, Les Carroz, Sixt and Flaine. The Morillon gondola is indeed 1.3 km away, the large carrier of Samoëns 5 km and a ski bus stop (free) leading to the two sites is located 70 m from the chalet.
