Its architectural wonders, as well as the colorful street markets, the wild beauty of the Mount Etna and the crystal-clear sea of the coasts will literally seduce you. Among the others, the Cathedral of Sant’Agata (the city’s patron saint), Bellini theater, the street markets, Via Etnea (Catania’s most important and scenographic street), the wonderful Monastery of the Benedictines (home to the faculty of Human Sciences) and the Etna are really worth a visit. The apartment is located in Via dei Ronchi, in a residential area a short walk away from Corso Italia and 500 meters away from the department of Business and Economics of Catania University. The metro (stops: Italia and Galatea) is reachable on foot in a few minutes, as well as Via Etnea, which is 1,5 km away. The airport of Catania Fontanarossa is about a 15-minute drive from the apartment (8 km). It is also possible to take a bus from Catania Central station that leads to the airport in approximately 20 minutes.
