A traditional stone building, it has been carefully renovated in country style, and stands in lovely mature gardens with spectacular palm trees and shady retreats. There is a large private swimming pool with generous full-width steps and cascade water feature, a sunny, poolside terrace and a further covered terrace with built-in barbecue for outside dining. Nearby Luçon offers a good choice of restaurants and an excellent, twice-weekly market specialising in seafood and local produce, while the lovely sandy beaches and pine forests lie within easy reach. Further afield are the famous canals of Green Venice and La Rochelle with its street cafés and nightlife. Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate.
