The Space: This two bedroom Stresa apartment is in the lovely village of Roncaro, an 8 minute walk to the lakeside and a 10-12 minute walk to the centre of Baveno. It's a quick boat, train or bus ride into nearby Stresa. The apartment is on the second floor and there are 2 flights of stairs (around 20 steps in all) to reach the front door. There are two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and an open-plan living and dining room area. The apartment is bright and airy and has been decorated in a modern and contemporary style. The apartment itself is on two levels, with the two bedrooms and master bathroom accessed via a spiral staircase. Outside this Stresa apartment, there is a private balcony with stunning views onto the lake, with table and chairs for 4. In addition, there is another terrace to the rear with views over the countryside and a private garden. For those coming by car, there is a garage situated behind secure electric gates as well as communal parking bays outside the front. Guest Access: Guests have the sole use of the entire apartment. The Neighborhood: This Stresa apartment is in a lovely quiet village, but within easy walking distance of Baveno. Baveno is a lakeside village from where you can take a boat to all the other towns and villages on the lake including Stresa itself. A boat will also take you to the popular Borromean Islands from Baveno. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Baveno, all within walking distance of the apartment. Getting Around: A car is not necessary as it is possible to walk to the lakeside where guests can use the public transport options on offer including boat, train and bus. Other Things to Note: We love the peace and tranquility that the location of this Stresa apartment provides to our guests whilst at the same time being within an easy walk of the bustling lakeside town of Baveno and within easy reach of the boat stop where you can access all the other towns and villages on the lake. It's a great option for those who don't wish to bring a car with them or who have a car but would prefer to be able to get out and about on foot.
