This is a romantic place for couples to unwind and reconnect. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. You can meander along the trail on our property or hike Mount Monadnock if you'd like more of a challenge. We escaped the hustle of city living eight years ago and fell in love with this property. While you're away we want our guest house to feel like your home. INTERNET We now have fiber so you can connect to the internet. TV/DVD BED/BEDDING -Queen bed with comfortable mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets. - Four pillows, comforter, quilt and throw. We know when you're away from home you want to sleep well and a really comfortable bed, is important. In fact some guests have said its the most comfortable airbnb bed they've ever slept in! BATHROOM -The bathroom is adjacent to the bed and has shower, toilet and sink. -There is an on demand hot water system. -We provide body wash, shampoo and conditioner. - Plush cotton towels and face cloths. We are 88 miles from Boston Logan Airport and 55 miles from Manchester. As you drive onto the property you will park just beyond the guest house in the parking on the left. In addition to the guest house you can use all the outdoor area to the left and behind it which provides ample shade in the summer. If you're using GPS enter 35 Richmond road, 314 says you've arrived when you get to the cemetery. Cross over Rhododendron road and stay on Richmond Road, our home is on the right. We've created a cozy place for you to stay but if you'd like anything please let us know. Founded in 1764, Fitzwilliam remains almost untouched, the village common is like a Christmas card from days gone by with a steepled town hall and houses that date back to the 1850s. The town is home to pristine Laurel Lake, a spring fed lake for summer swimming, kayaking and fishing and Rhodendron State Park is a must see especially in July when it is in full bloom. Here is a link to a video on the park. (URL HIDDEN) Mount Mondanock is five miles away in Jaffrey - it's the most climbed mountain in the world! Or gap mountain is an easier climb about ten minutes away on the way to Troy The recreational Cheshire railroad trail runs behind the property for hiking and cross country skiing. For outdoor enthusiasts there are plenty of things to do from downhill skiing cross country skiing and hiking Fitzwilliam has been dubbed the antiques mecca of the Southwestern New Hampshire as there are several antique shops in town including Bloomin 'Antiques, Old Glory Antiques, and our our store Covey House that also offers handcrafted gift items from over 25 artisans. Plumpapparel offers clothing and accessories for the fuller figure and Feather Herb Farm has an eclectic mix of old and new in luring clothing. If you plan to pick up groceries Market basket and Hannafords are six miles away in Rindge We are ten minute drive from Franklin Pierce university and twenty minutes from Keene State University. There are lots of wonderful places to visit but you will need your own transportation. Our top recommendation for an exquisite dining experience is Pickity Place in Mason, NH.
