An end terrace cottage, situated near the town of Ellesmere. It houses two bedrooms and can sleep up to four people. Big Hill Cottage is an end terrace property, set on the outskirts of Ellesmere. Inside you will find two double bedrooms, two bathrooms with a bath, shower over, basin and WC, in addition to a downstairs WC room. Additional rooms include an open-plan living room with a well-appointed kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning fire. You will also find an additional sitting room with an electric woodburning effect fire. Outside, there is off-road parking, suitable for up to four cars, a lawned front garden and a rear garden, complete with a hot tub. Big Hill Cottage is a luxury base for an exciting holiday. Amenities: Oil central heating with electric fire and a woodburning fire. Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, electric oven, induction hob, microwave, TV, iPod dock, selection of books Hot Tub and WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack inc. in rent. Note: no stag/hen parties or similar. Please note there are no provision for small children at this property. Region: A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England. Town: The market town of Ellesmere can be found between the Shropshire Meres and the well-known Shropshire to Llangollen canal. This town is steeped with history, with Tudor, Georgian and Victorian buildings, and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants. Within the town, you can take a stroll along The Mere, explore the Whittington Castle or follow the Sculpture Trail.
