The villa, of contemporary design, has pink plaster, red terracotta floors and roofs and white window frames that stand out against the dark grey of the paved forecourt, the green of the lawn and the blue of the pool providing energy and propensity to spend time outdoors. The interior is done in pastel colours, with the chestnut-wood furniture dominating on the ground floor, giving a sense of warmth and welcome. A few kilometres from the villa you can visit Etruscan necropolises, Roman ruins, medieval castles, lakes and nature trails, Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, the regional park of Sutri with its amphitheatre, intriguing Civita di Bagnoregio (UNESCO world heritage site), the castle of Bracciano, Palazzo Orsini in Soriano nel Cimino and many other important historical and cultural sites. Returning from the various excursions, you can relax in the park of the villa in the shade of olive trees, reading a good book from the library, or you can enjoy the view from the terraces ranging from the Cimini Hills to the old borgo of Caprarola, with its churches and houses high up. Very close to Villa Concetta is Lake Vico with bathing establishments, restaurants and recreational activities. In the villages of Caprarola (8 km) and Ronciglione (5 km) you can find all necessary services: bank and ATM, grocery stores and bakery products, medical service, supermarkets, gym, laundry, hairdresser and beautician, cinema, bars and restaurants. The bus stop is only 900 metres away. Interior: The villa has two floors connected only internally by a polished marble staircase. The entrance on the ground floor, under a small portico set up as an outdoor living area, leads into an open-plan area consisting of lounge, dining room and kitchen with wood oven and fireplace. A French window leads out to the portico by the kitchen which is perfect for breakfast and informal meals. The ground floor is completed by a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a technical room. The top floor consists of an open-plan area with lounge, dining room and kitchen, a double bedroom, two single bedrooms and a bathroom with tub and shower. From the open-plan area you go out to two large terraces, one of which, thanks to its covered portico, can be used as an external dining area. The double bedroom, one of the single bedrooms and the laundry room face out onto this terrace (the latter with external access only from this same terrace). Park: The property is set on a hilly terrain of 3 hectares with vines, hazel, olive and fruit trees; also, among oaks, turkey oaks, holm oaks and chestnuts you can often come across squirrels, foxes, roe deer and porcupines. The 3000 sq m well-kept and enclosed garden with mixed lawn that surrounds the villa includes cherry, medlar, linden, mandarin and plane trees. Colourful geraniums and oleanders in tones of red, pink, fuchsia and purple brighten the anthracite paving of the forecourt and parking area in front of the entrance. The box hedge defines the pool and the panorama of the hilly slopes to the north. The villa has terraces and porticos ideal for lunches and breakfasts, informal dinners and moments of pure relaxation. The vegetable garden offers that little extra to enrich dishes and recipes with economical ingredients. The blue of the swimming pool completes the exterior of Villa Concetta which at night is illuminated by many light points, giving the place a special charm. The 4-car parking area in front of the entrance can be conveniently used for any eventual catering needs.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa. Swimming Pool: The pool is located in the centre of a terracotta-paved area surrounded by lawn and bordered below by a green hedge. Set in the north-facing part of the park, it is 5 m from the villa, on the ground floor level. Access to the water is via Roman steps or metal ladder. Rectangular with an anti-slip stone edge and lined in white PVC, the pool measures 6 x 12 m with the depth varying from 1.40 to 2.40 m near the centre; it has chlorine purification and multicoloured internal lights. The sunbathing area in stoneware and lawn is equipped with sunbeds, a chaise longue, a large wood and fabric umbrella and white spotlights. The internal and external coloured lights together with the minimum distance from the villa with immediate access from the ground floor open-plan area allows you to enjoy the pool area in the evening and at night. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October. Pets: Yes, only one animal small/medium size. € 30,00 per week to be paid on site.
