The apartment is in a stand alone building which is very quite and private. The outside deck/balcony overlooks a wooded area and private gardens. The rooms and bathroom are modern with a washer and dryer and complete kitchen. You are a 5 minute walk to downtown and minutes to our biking and walking rail trail, with access to the waterfront and parks. Come experience coastal living at its best. Access to the building is a separate entrance from the main house so come and go as you please. There is plenty of street parking. We are typically around and can help with any ideas or needs you may have while visiting. Newburyport has a number of restaurant choices for all appetites and price ranges and all within walking distance. There are endless activities for the summer and winter including, kayaking, whale watching, surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, state parks and trail walks, cross country skiing, ice skating and the numerous festivals the city is known for hosting through out the year. Great beaches 2.5 miles away. Within walking distance there is an Enterprise car rental agency, a 45 minute commuter rail service direct to Boston and many other local cities and towns. There is also an hourly bus service to Logan airport. We have two local taxi cab services. You actually don't need a car for this trip with all the options above.
