The closed court yard has got outdoor dining area for 10 guests, fitted barbeque area. Fully equipped kitchen is designed to make your stay as comfortable as at home. Unlimited Wi-Fi, cable TV. A traditional Portuguese country house, located in a picturesque and quiet village of Pousadouros, with a few hiking routes around it. The house is well equipped for family gatherings and entertaining guests of all age. A spacious game room in the attic s with a pool and card tables is ideal for family evening gatherings. A cosy outdoor area with Portuguese style barbecue facility and a dining table for up to 10 guests. The kitchen is well equipped with 2 refrigerators, dishwasher, juice maker, blender, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, gas cooker and electric oven. Washing machine and ironing equipment are available. A private parking for one car is available. The entire house is open for the guests. Private entrance to the house. There is a caretaker that lives next door to the house who is available for assistance. The house is located in a beautiful, tranquil, rural setting only 5 minutes drive from the nearest river beach with several other river beaches nearby. Diverse landscape offers stunning walks, a few of them start right from the front door. Plenty of other walks, hikes and biking trails are in a short driving distance. Bike hire with delivery to the house is available. There is canoeing, kayaking and paddle boarding in the area. Restaurants and shopping amenities are close by. The pretty town of Arganil is in 10 minute drive with a range of supermarkets, restaurants and antique shops. There are more facilities in Tabua, in 20 minute drive. The beautiful historic city of Coimbra, picturesque village of Piodao and the stunning national park Serra de Estrela are all within easy reach by car. Although amenities are all within easy reach, having a car is essential. The outdoor plunge pool is closed.
