PRIVATE STRUCTURE. Villa Miki is a modern, 300 sq m villa, tastefully decorated in the local traditional. Its location is perfect for getting to the gentle hills covered by the vineyards of some of the best cru (vineyards) of Piedmont: Barbera and Moscato. The strong point of Villa Miki is the large porch, centre of the house, which greets you on arrival with a large seating area, a small kitchen, a wood oven and a large table for your social occasions. The villa has two floors. Adjacent to the porch is the entrance to the cosy living room with fireplace (ornamental) and furnished with comfortable orange sofas. On the left hand side you access the kitchen/dining room and from here the laundry. From the kitchen, a stone staircase leads up to part of the first floor where there are a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Back to the ground floor living room, on the right hand side door opens into the master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and tub. A wooden staircase in the living room leads up to the second part of first floor with a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with balcony, a bedroom with two single beds (which can be joined together to form a double bed), a second bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom with shower. Roman steps lead into the water and it is illuminated so that you can swim during the beautiful summer nights. It is lined in sky-blue fiberglass and has chlorine purification and a hot-water shower. The hill is covered by vineyards where some of the most noble cru (wines) of Piedmont are grown, including Barbera and Moscato, undoubtedly the best. Besides the vineyards are intensively cultivated orchards of apples and peaches. Furthermore in a bit more than one hour drive, it is possible to reach Genova, Torino and Milan. There are numerous events held throughout the year, all within easy reach. Among these we would like to mention the following. In April, in Frascaro (AL) "Frascaro in Fiore (Frascara in Bloom)", a famous floricultural fair, is held. There are three events in May: 1) in many neighbouring localities we find "Cantine Aperte (Open Cellars)" with the opportunity of tasting the best local wines paired with local products; 2) in Vinchio (AT) the "Sagra dell'Asparago (Festival of Asparagus)"; 3) in Nizza Monferrato (AT) "Nizza è Barbera", a two-day event dedicated to the fine red wine.
