Easy access to the dining hall for meals should you choose to buy breakfast and dinner at the Bed and Breakfast. Please ask for the menu and payment can be made by card. The space is adequate for 2 people comfortably. No extra guests can stay in the apartment, however if you have others that want to stay near to you, you could book a room in the Bed and Breakfast next door, called Dower House Bed and breakfast. Collect your keys from the key safe which will be texted to you on arrival day. Carpark at the front of the house and off the road. Welcome folder is available in the apartment. It contains maps, ideas, menus and much more information on where to walk, hike, bike and wander in the local area. Newtonmore has hotels, restaurant, take aways, café and pubs. A welcome pac of our home made bread, our own jam, slab of butter and fresh milk with some home baking, fruit and ground coffee will be waiting for you. Newtonmore is nestled in the western side of the Cairngorm National Park, with easy driving to Perth or Inverness in about 1 hour. Many walk, hikes, strolls can be taken from the front door, and other can be a short car journey away. Cafes, pubs, restaurants are all in the village along with a petrol station and well stocked supermarket. Craft shops, heritage walks, wild cat walks on your doorstep. Local maps available. Train station is 500m along Station Road. Make sure you get on the train that stops at Newtonmore. Bus service through the village and the nearest bus stop is 200 yards along the main street. Call us if this happens so we can arrange collection of you. We have bikes that are free to use, at your own risk. Private tours available for distilleries. Welcome basket will be in the kitchen when you arrive. This contains, fresh baked bread, from the Dower House kitchen along with a pot of jam, butter and Dower House muffins or baking, along with some fresh milk.
