If you're looking to disconnect and relax, you'll enjoy our cozy country cottage. The dirt country roads of the community make a quiet backdrop to your weekend away. During the day enjoy some sight seeing or shopping in the Poconos. When you're done you can grill in the backyard, make a meal in the kitchen, or grab some take out. After dinner cuddle up to a movie in the living room or play a game with the family at the kitchen table. Its not a fancy place, but its clean and homey. Home is a cozy cottage with plank ceilings in the bedrooms, painted paneled walls, large stone gas fireplace and an eclectic relaxing style. Entire house is yours to enjoy. Two bedrooms, one bath, living room, kitchen, and sun room/laundry area. Home also includes deck, patio, and large yard. We are available by phone if you need us, but otherwise the space is yours to enjoy on your own. The pocono raceway is 15 minutes away and the Cottage would be an ideal location to spend the weekend if you are looking to stay local. If you have loved ones staying at camp Jersey Jaycee, considering spending your drop off or pick up night at our cottage. Camp is only a five minute drive away. If you want to take the little ones fishing be sure to check out the Big Brown fish and pay lake. Our township is also home to the worlds largest Shoprite grocery store, Kinsley Shoprite. If you like coffee you must check out Morghan Rake coffee rooaster in the town of Effort. Take a bag of freshly roasted coffee beans home to enjoy! The Crossing Premium Outlets, Country Junction General Store, Mt. Airy casino, town of Jim Thorpe and downtown Stroudsburg are all within a 30 minute drive. Camelback, Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, and Shawnee are also within 30 minutes. Enjoy all that Monroe, Carbon and Pike County PA has to offer! Its best to have a car, but during weekdays there is a bus route within walking distance that will take you to local stops. If you plan on joining us in the winter, four wheel or all wheel drive is a must!
