Matthew is passionate about creating memorable experiences for guests, weather it is through exceptional service, high quality food and drink or being as accommodating as possible to ensure that. Matthew loves the stunning outdoors surrounding The Mendip and recommends making a visit to Chew Valley Lake, Harptree Combe, Cheddar Gorge or the famous Glastonbury Tor. He also enjoys visiting a number of local galleries and appreciates the abundance of brilliant local artists. Head Chef Simon has been in the industry for over 35 years and has a real passion for creating exciting dishes using the freshest local ingredients possible. He will ensure that the food during you stay highlights local Somerset produce and the fabulous flavours of the British seasons. General Manager Polly has a number of years as a hotelier and strives to create a home from home for all guests.
