Charming one bedroom gite in the heart of Correze.

An ideal base for couple, young families, single travelers and friends. Set in full peaceful area with full countryside views. Guests can enjoy hiking, fishing, cycling and canoeing in nearby Uzerche. Our gite offers open plan kitchen and lounge area with a log fire. The kitchen is well equipped with a dining area. The bedroom/bathroom combined on the first floor. There is an extensive garden with outdoor dining table and sun loungers and small bbq. Our place is a small traditional gite with charming features including wooden beams, fireplace and wood burning stove. Guests can enjoy our extensive garden. On the first floor you will find bedroom/bathroom with double bed and great views across open fields. Guest have access to washing machine at the property of the hosts. Mandy and Ian live on site at the adjoining property and are available should you need us. We respect our guest privacy but we are always friendly and approachable should you need any information, advice or just to say hello. We are available to supply local information, advice on hikes and walks and we have maps for you should you need them. The gite is situated 1km from our tiny village of Saint Pardoux Corbier. Here you will find a church next to the local bar ! You can have a coffee or a pineau with the locals whilst you pick up your fresh baguettes and croissants. During July and August, there is a weekly local fete which attracts locals and tourists alike. You can buy local cheeses, wine, local bread and homemade ice cream. High quality meat and poultry products are available for you to purchase and cook on the BBQ’s in the village square. Everyone sits together on long tables to eat and talk whilst local bands play on into the night with dancing and fun for all. There is also a fishing lake just outside the village. The nearby town of Lubersac has an open air swimming pool, restaurants, bars, cafe, post office, banking, supermarkets, doctor, dentist and of course more than a few hairdressers! A car is essential as we are situated in full countryside with no public transport. The local village is within walking distance (15 mins). We also have bikes which visitors can use at no extra charge.
