The Marlfield is located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. The bungalow is bright and cosy whilst being a perfect retreat after along day exploring the area. Filled with all the amenities to keep you entertained including; complimentary WiFi, Sky TV, and a fully functioning kitchen. You'll have a great night's sleep in our plush king size bed. Only a 5 mins drive to the Strathclyde Business Park, this property is well located for guests staying on business and is a short commute from Glasgow. The lounge is a bright space with a modern finish. Perfect for watching your favourite programmes on TV and surfing the internet using our reliable and complementary WiFi. Our modern kitchen gives you the opportunity to cook and enjoy a lovely dinner or whip up a quick breakfast. With all the essential kitchenware on-hand, there is almost no limit to what you can do. Basic condiments are provided such as salt, pepper and olive oil as well as tea, coffee, sugar and milk. The bedroom comes fitted with wardrobes and drawers, so plenty of storage space to pack away your clothes. Perfect for individuals and couples. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, hand-sink and bathtub/shower. There is also a well-maintained garden, which is a great place to unwind after a busy day. Guests can access all areas of the property, except some storage facilities which may be locked. There is a lock-box with keys inside. Clear details on how to enter the property will be given 1 week in advance of arrival and 1 day prior to arrival. The property is located on a quiet street in a nice residential area. The neighbours are all very friendly and considerate. The best way to get around this part of Scotland is by car, although the public transport can also be quite good. You are only a 20-30 minute car journey from the centre of Glasgow, as the M8 (the main motorway) is only a few minutes away. There are 2 train stations not too far from the property. You can get to both stations by using the 201 bus which stops 2 minutes walk away from the property. The closest station is Bellshill train station. From here you can get into Glasgow Central Station in about 20 minutes. To get to this station will require a 25 minute walk or a 5 minutes bus journey (201 bus - Southbound). Once you arrive at Glasgow Central Station, you will be right in the centre of town and can enjoy an number of great shops and restaurants. The second closest train station is Coatbridge Sunnyside Train Station. I would recommend a bus to get to this one. it should take 20 - 25 minutes at most (201 bus - Northbound). This line will take you to Glasgow Queen Street Station in 20 minutes, which also is in the centre of the city and close to the best parts of Glasgow. The trains on both lines are regular, every 20-30 minutes. If you are going short distances but don't fancy a walk, I would recommend taking a taxi , they are fairly cheap here compared to the rest of Scotland and are all very safe. The taxi drivers will be sure to want to chat to you as they are all very friendly. Should you require any assistance during your stay (i.e. questions on how to use the appliances, general maintenance queries or local area information), please refer to the Welcome Book. If you are still unsure, Lorna (Main Host) is on hand to answer your questions by phone. Should you have any queries regarding the booking, then Daniel (Co-Host) is on hand to answer any questions by phone. If staying for more than 7 nights, you will be entitled to a complementary house clean as well as a linen and towel refresh. If staying for more than 14 nights, you can expect the house clean to take place 1 week after the day of your arrival (e.g. arrival on Tuesday, house clean on the next Tuesday and so on). If you are staying between 8 and 14 nights, you can expect the house clean to take place during the midpoint of your stay (e.g. arrival on Tuesday and staying for 10 nights, house clean to potentially take place on Saturday or Sunday). We will confirm the date of the house clean with you after your arrival.
