Historic center apartment with self/early check in
Recently renovated and furnished studio apartment (2021), located in a historic building, just 1.3 km from the famous Civita di Bagnoregio, "the dying city", one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Located in the historic center of Bagnoregio, 20 m from the parking (free), adjacent to restaurants, bars, various shops, ATMs, etc. The bedroom is very large with a large bed, including a 23 cm memory foam double mattress. We chose the anatomic mattress with orthopedic structure because we think that nothing is better than a good rest, after a long day spent walking in the midst of nature, to discover the wonders of Tuscia, or by boat on Lake Bolsena. located just 15 minutes by car from Bagnoregio. To then wake up in great shape the next day, and leave again to discover new enchanted places. The house is very cool in the summer, being a house with thick walls, in tuff, which guarantee excellent insulation from outside temperatures. The two bedside tables near the bed have drawers, and behind you will find the sockets to charge your mobile phones and various electronic devices. You will find 3 large pillows, 2 of which are in memory foam. In the room you can take advantage of a wardrobe including shelves and hangers, a very soft and warm large blanket, and a double winter quilt. The chest of drawers offers you other spaces for clothing. We have also thought of a comfortable 2-seater sofa with a bamboo coffee table, where in the morning you can taste a good coffee prepared with the electric moka provided, or a hot tea on cooler days. We have chosen to keep the fireplace and cover it in stone typical of the area, making it decorative, with two simple and rustic wall lights, for an intimate and romantic atmosphere during the evening. The small library with solid wood shelves contains 14 quality books, in Italian and English, for those who would like to read something in the evening instead of watching TV. For those who prefer a good movie, they can turn on the 40-inch smart TV, hung on the wall for a better view and enjoy the TIM Vision, Youtube etc for free, or take advantage of our free fiber wifi. In the small corridor, under the arch with solid wood shelf, there is a wooden cupboard that contains everything you need for a short breakfast: cutlery, plates, electric kettle, electric moka, cups, glasses, container with sugar and tea bags single-dose. Throughout the studio, including the bathroom, we have preserved the wooden beam ceiling and in the bedroom and corridor, also the precious antique terracotta floor, much appreciated by those who know its value and love its authentic and ancient beauty. Although sometimes I will not be available in person, for any need or emergency, I can be found on the mobile number provided when confirming your booking The flat is located in the historic center, 20 m from the parking lot, close to all services: restaurants, bars, various shops, ATM, pharmacies. Civita di Bagnoregio, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, also known as "the dying city" is only 1.3 km from the apartment, being reachable on foot, taking a beautiful walk along the historic center (recommended), or by taking the local bus, from the car park which is 1 min walk from the flat. Civita di Bagnoregio is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and every year it is visited by hundreds of thousands of people who come from all over the world to admire its timeless aspect and the magical atmosphere that can be perceived walking among the its narrow alleys. You can visit the Geological and Landslide Museum, an interesting museum institution which, bringing together a wide range of disciplines, from geology to seismology to archeology, illustrates the particular relationship between Civita and its territory. For those who wish, you can stop and taste the local food up in the village at the "Osteria al Forno di Agnese", or go down to Bagnoregio in one of the many small restaurants including "Romantica Pucci" in the historic center, 2 minutes away on foot, "Il Bocconcino "for those who love Sardinian cuisine, can spend more and love to eat in a fabulous garden, or" Magna Civita "always for those who prefer to eat outdoors. Lake Bolsena, the largest volcanic lake in Europe is only 20 km away, and there you can rent motor boats by the hour, or for the whole day (even without a boat license), enjoying relaxation and intimacy if you want to do a swim near the 2 islands in the middle of the lake, staying away from the crowds that characterize the summer months. Orvieto is only 9.8 km away, and it is absolutely worth visiting the Cathedral and the well of San Patrizio, or you can opt for a wine tour among the many wineries in the area. Other tourist attractions are: "Parco dei monsri" in Bomarzo, also suitable for children, just 19.8 km away, or Villa Lante at 23 km to stroll in its famous gardens, with waterfalls, fountains and water games, voted in 2011 as "the most beautiful park in Italy".
