The small family home of Cefn Eithin provides two comfortable self catering holiday cottages. Stiwdio Eithinog is located next to the family home of Cefn Eithin. This listing is for the cottage of STIWDIO EITHINOG. It is perfect for a couple, or a single person to holiday throughout the year. It offers a wonderful home from home self catering holiday experience. The beautiful castle town of Caernarfon and the gorgeous Snowdonia National Park are within very easy reach of Cefn Eithin Parking for the property is ample and privacy is afforded. Stiwdio Eithinog is a single storey cottage. The entrance leads to the new and comfortable kitchen / diner, off which you can access the main living and sleeping area. The living area has comfortable seats and a table, so it is a great space for relaxing, eating or watching the TV. The double bed is in the same room, although it's separated by a small step. There is a small garden area tot he rear of the Stiwdio, accessed though the back door. It has plenty of outdoor space to relax in the afternoon sun, or enjoy a drink after a great day out. We have a drying room on site, which is perfect for drying wet outdoor clothing. It has drying lines, clothes pegs and a dehumidifier. It is shared with guests from Eithin Bach if necessary. Our campervan and caravan site has plenty of space to kick a football around, or just enjoy a bit of outdoor garden space. You are welcome to use the wooden goal posts there for a kick about. Bird life in the garden area and the neighbouring fields is very good. The tranquility of the location is wonderful, as are views of the Snowdonia mountains and over Abermenai to Anglesey The cottage is available for week long, longer or shorter term bookings, depending on availability. The parking close to Stiwdio Eithinog is ample, you can easily reverse up to the front door. The owners are likely to be around during your visit. They live in the large main house that is adjacent to Stiwdio Eithinog. Eithin Bach is in a rural setting, surrounded by fields full of sheep and country lanes. The local village of Bethesda Bach has a nice bar / restaurant, but little else. Slightly further afield, the town of Bontnewydd has more facilities. The market and castle town of Caernarfon is less than 5 miles away, where you can get anything you need shopping wise and enjoy wonderful harbour and castle sight seeing. A bus stop is a short walk away and a really nice cycle track, Lon Eifion, is less than half a mile away. Good quality local taxi companies include; Huws Taxis (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Ivans Taxis (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Robs Taxis (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) Cefn Eithin is situated close to the the Snowdonia National Park and right on the edge of the Lleyn Peninsula, with its beautiful beaches and gorgeous coastal scenery. There is a wealth of opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast, all with in close proximity of Cefn Eithin, for example; Hillwalking in Snowdonia. Pen y Pass, a popular parking / start point for Snowdon is only (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes away by car. Rock climbing. Coastal walking. Wonderful local sandy and rocky beaches which are perfect for families and photographers. Caernarfon and its medieval Castle. Dinas Dinlle and Aberdesach beaches. Pwllheli, Abersoch, the Lleyn Peninsula and Bardsey Island. Beddgelert, Porthmadog, Betws y Coed towns and shops. Criccieth, Harlech, Conwy castles. Anglesey. RSPB reserves at South Stack on Anglesey and Conwy. Family adventure at Greenwood Park Forest Park. Go karting, quad biking, indoor bowling, archery and fishing at Glasfryn Parc. Llanberis Slate museum, Padarn Country Parc and the Electric Mountain centre in Llanberis. Rope challenges at Ropeworks near Porthmadog. Glynllifon Country Parc. Dragon Raiders Paintball  park near Llanystumdwy. Zip World near Bethesda. 18 hole golf courses at Caernarfon, Nefyn, Deganwy, and Abersoch. Watersports at Pwllheli, Abersoch or the National Watersporots centre, Plas Menai, on the Menai Straits. Road and mountain biking. Lon Eifion cycle track. Outdoor photography. Watersports such as river and sea kayaking. Sailing. Fishing. Plas Menai, the National Watersports Centre is nearby. Andy and Helen Teasdale are both highly qualified and experienced outdoor professionals. Andy holds the British Mountain Guides qualification and Helen holds the UK Mountain Instructor Certificate. Both are able to offer high quality guided hill walking, scrambling and rock climbing outings during your stay at Cefn Eithin. Walking on Snowdon or climbing at Gogarth are fantastic days out.
