Self contained small flat in quiet location, central for Penzance (6 miles), St Ives (4 miles), Hayle (2 miles) and West Cornwall. South West Coast Path within two miles. Many of the lovely beaches of West Cornwall are just a few minutes drive away. Lounge, bedroom, kitchen/diner and shower room/toilet. Please note that all spaces are non smoking The small flat is in a country location in a quiet no through road. There are views of a wooded valley and across country to Carn Brea, near Redruth. The kitchen has a cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. There is a lounge with TV and DVD player and a double sofa bed if required. The bedroom has a double bed. Whilst OK for a family with children, four adults might be a little cramped. Wifi is available free of charge. Smoking or vaping is not permitted in any area of the flat and an additional charge may be made if this is detected. Guests may use all the facilities of the flat and there is private off road parking immediately outside. There is a private entrance. Guests are also welcome to walk in the garden and pick any fruit in season. I am available at any time in the house to which the flat is attached or can be contacted with any questions on my mobile number. For those without a car, pickup from St Erth railway station ( 1 mile away) can be arranged at sensible times. The flat is attached to our house, but entirely separate, in a quiet road leading from the main A30. The road itself is a mixture of old and new properties, mostly detached, and with a friendly population (most consisting of dog walkers!). Please note that there are no large shops, restaurants or pubs less than twenty minutes walk, although the local garage (about ten minutes walk) has a selection of groceries, newspapers etc. To properly enjoy West Cornwall, a car is recommended, but there are public transport and main line rail links within a short walk. The nearest rail station is St Erth, which is about a 15-20 minute walk. Buses run along the main road, the bus stop is about a ten minute downhill walk. Pickup and drop off at St Erth rail station can be arranged with sufficient notice. For walkers, a lift to the nearby section of the Coast Path starting at Lelant can be arranged, and again with sufficient notice a pickup for weary walkers may be possible. There are many country walks in the area with the Iron Age hillfort of Trencrom a ten minute drive away and, for the more active, a short walking distance away. St Michael's Mount and Penzance are easily reached either by car or public transport, while the St Ives branch railway line runs frequently from St Erth along the coast of St Ives Bay. There are a wealth of prehistoric, Iron Age, medieval sites and manor houses and gardens in West Cornwall, all within a short car journey. Maps and guides are available in the flat Please note that the flat is NO SMOKING and an additional cleaning charge may be made if this is detected. I do recommend that a car is used - there are no shops, pubs or restaurants within easy walking distance although some local firms will deliver..
