The Booley, Ballykeel Farm is pet friendly, 4* self-catering accommodation in an old converted farm building at the foot of the Mourne Mountains. Between Kilkeel and Annalong, close to Newcastle. Within easy reach walking, hiking, mountain biking and golf courses. 'Just home from our weekend stay at The Booley a fantastic weekend. Converted 250 year old farm building. Perfect for a couple, two friends or a family with younger children. Walkers welcome. All mod cons to make your stay enjoyable. Enjoy the experience of staying on a working farm. We are on the A2 between Annalong and Kilkeel just out side the village of Ballymartin. If not arriving by car, there is a Bus Station is in Kilkeel and one in Newcastle. The No. 37 goes past the house. The bus stop (both sides of the road) is 100yds to the right from the front gate. (Email hidden by Airbnb) Working farm. Quiet at night but can be busy during the day. There is a pub in Ballymartin and Annalong is close with the Halfway House, a Chinese take away and traditional fish and chip shop. Kilkeel is 5 minutes and Newcastle is 10 minutes. The Mournes are 10 minutes drive and the beach is 10 minutes walk. There is secure storage for bicycles in the farm yard. Parking is in the farm yard. No 37 bus (Translink) drops off and pick up outside front gate. Dogs are welcome but for their own safety they need to be on a leash at all times outside. There will be a £10 dog cleaning fee.
