Living in Sieglar between Cologne and Bonn

Dear guests, we invite you into our cosy 2-room-apartment with livingroom, bedroom, windowed bathroom and fully equipped kitchen in Troisdorf-Sieglar. The apartment isn't shared with other tenants, bed sheets and towels are included in the price. Within 20 min. by car or 45 min. by bus and train you’ll arrive in Cologne or Bonn. The amusement park Phantasialand, the Lanxess-Arena in Cologne, the heathland Wahner Heide or the river Rhine with the Drachenfels are popular places for excursions. Spacious flat on the first level in a relatively quite location in a byroad. The flat was recently renovated and offers extensive equipment. The kitchen is equipped with: dishwasher, fridge with separate refrigerator, stove and oven, coffee machine and kettle, as well as a microwave. Apart from the large double bed in the bedroom (1,80 m width), also the couch in the living room can be used as a bed (1,40 m width). Moreover, the TV and a small stereo system can be used free of charge. A good Wifi connection is available for free. Our washing machine can be used in agreement with us for a small charge. The flat is not shared with other tenants. Several bakeries, bars/pubs, cafés, an ice cream parlour, restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies are within walking distance (max. 10 minutes). Originally, Sieglar has been the administrative centre of the right bank of the river Sieg. Today, many old mansions and grand half-timbered houses bespeak of that time. The extensive meadows near the Sieg are natural paradises in direct vicinity of the apartment. Close to the apartment there are also the river Rhine with its beautiful cycling routes, the mountain range Siebengebirge with the famous Drachenfels and the protected landscape Wahner Heide. Like this, the apartment can be used as a starting point for long bike tours along the rivers Sieg and Rhine, a comprehensive network of cycling routes brings you to the most beautiful landscapes. You can store your bikes in the court of the house. Within 20 minutes by car you’ll arrive in Cologne or Bonn. The nearest bus stops can be reached in only 1 to 2 minutes by foot. You can drive directly to Bonn central station with the bus (approx. 35 minutes) or with a change at Troisdorf station to Cologne central station (approx. 45 minutes). You can reach the airport Cologne/Bonn within 10 minutes by car. With the bus and the train you only need 35 minutes. Different bus stops are in walking distance and you only need 1 to 2 minutes to reach them. The bus no. 501 takes you to Troisdorf station in 10 minutes. From there you can easily reach the big cities Cologne (20 minutes by train) and Bonn (30 minutes by train). Also the train station for high-speed trains in Siegburg is reachable from Troisdorf by train and the ride only takes 3 to 5 minutes. The bus no. 551 takes you directly to the city centre of Bonn within 40 minutes. Bonn central station is the last stop of the bus. In total, there are four different bus numbers which regularly take you to the train station or the neighbouring areas.
