Mountain Sojourn

'Mountain Sojourn', our private guest apartment, is now carbon neutral with 100% of our electricity coming from our off grid solar system. Free EV charging is available with Type 2 charger. Our breakfast includes organic produce which is locally sourced. The apartment has its own courtyard and private entry and is connected to our home in the foothills of the Blue Mountains. Close to wedding venues and great restaurants. Air conditioning and a heated bathroom floor ensure a comfortable stay. A cheese plate to enjoy in the private courtyard is available on request at an extra cost. There are many Camellia trees on the property and the courtyard changes with the seasons. Guests have the whole apartment which has an ensuite bathroom and kitchenette. There is a private courtyard directly connected to the apartment. Laundry facilities are in the apartment and can be used for a small fee. The apartment is connected to our home and has a separate private entry. There is plenty of street parking in front of the house. We live on the property and will be available to answer any questions and give local recommendations. If we are not there on check-in our guests will be able to access the apartment through the private entry with a door code. Award winning Lochiel House is at the bottom of our street, a short walk away. The Archibald Hotel is a few minutes up the hill. Kurrajong Village, with several cafes and lovely gift stores is 5 minutes by car. Bilpin apple and cider country is a 10 minute drive and Mt Tomah Botanical Garden is 20 minutes away. Katoomba and Leura in the Blue Mountains are an hour away on a very scenic drive. The ridge at the top of our street borders the Blue Mountains National Park. There are panoramic scenic views and walks in the bush along the ridge line. We are close to wedding venues and will try to accomodate pre-arranged early check in for weddings when we can.
