The Summer House (Munden House)

The Summer House is set in the grounds of Munden House and is a lovely, spacious and quiet place to stay with wonderful views of the gardens. An antique chandelier, handmade Angora rug , a silk throw and crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen, The Summer house is both beautiful and comfortable. Guests have complete independence and privacy. A luxury continental breakfast is included for the first morning of your stay to either eat at the kitchen table or outside on the covered deck. Unwind and relax. The Summer house has a large tastefully decorated bedroom equipped with an HD free Sat SmartTV with Netflix. The small kitchen is well equipped with an oven, hob and microwave. The bathroom has a walk in shower. A luxury continental breakfast is provided to enjoy for the first morning of your stay. This includes stewed fruits from the garden, home made muesli, yoghurt, and fruit juice, delicious bread from the 100 year old bakery next door, eggs from our chickens along with home made jams and marmalade. Free Wifi is available. We are a five minute drive from the delightful town of Sherborne which has an ancient and beautiful Abbey and many excellent restaurant's cafes and pubs. Sainsbury's and Waitrose are available there along with many other excellent independent shops. Wonderful North Dorset countryside to explore with many picturesque villages, excellent walking and about a half an hour's drive to the coast. Parking is off road in the courtyard.
