The apartment is situated in a peaceful village 50 m away from the river Mrežnica in the continental Croatia near the main roads to Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, the Adriatic Coast. The river is suitable for swimming. The terrace offers a view on one of the most beautiful Croatian rivers – Mreznica, which is 50 m away from the house. The river is safe for swimming (especially for kids and pets). Since the house is built of wood and lies near the river, the nights are fresh and pleasant for sleeping even in summer, so that there is no need for air conditioning. The furniture is wooden, hand-made; toys are wooden, hand-made. The property is surrounded by a wire fence, so that pets cannot get out. The house consists of the: - basement (small kitchen + keeping room, toilet, bedroom) - 1st floor (terrase with a table and a swing; living room with a fireplace and a sofa for 2 persons, 2 wardrobes and TV; kitchen with a fridge, a stove with an oven on electricity and gas, a small table with 2 chairs, a cupboard for food and dishes; bathroom with a shower cabin and a toilet). - attic with 2 single beds and a dressing table. The house is heated by wood-burning fireplace in the basement and on the first floor. Parking is included. There is no washing machine, but the host offers laundry service on request free of charge. Outsourcing on request with a local travel agency: bike rental, rafting, horse riding, freshwater fishing, sightseeing with a local tourguide, dining etc. Food delivery from the local farmers on request. On the first day of arrival our guests receive an internal guidebook with the hidden beauties of Karlovac County available by e-mail, on paper, mobile phone application (under construction). The host is not present during the guest stay, but is available 24 hours a day for any request, urgent situations or any kind of help via mobile phone, e-mail or personally. The host can provide a network of medical services for kids and pets.
