Wenlock Edge Apartment-described as a Hidden Gem

We are a 5 min drive to Much Wenlock.Based on Wenlock Edge in the owners grounds. Here you can relax in the peace and quiet whilst enjoying the elevated views. Wenlock Edge apartment is next door to our brand new Westwood Lodge(sleeps 16) so can add an extra 2 to your party if you are in the Lodge. It is best to book Monday to Friday if you want total peace & tranquility, as the Lodge is booked out pretty much every weekend, & whilst most holiday makers are quiet we cannot guarantee this. The apartment consists of an open plan kitchen & lounge area, and a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom/shower room. The dorma bedroom has a comfortable king-size bed. The kitchen has modern facilities including a built in oven and hob,wooden floor, washing machine, fridge , microwave, kettle, toaster, kitchen utensils and tea towels (toiletries and towels are provided). The kitchen has a small breakfast bar with two gas lift stools. The lounge area has a new 42inch television with a DVD player. The lounge has a 2-seater red leather settee with scatter cushions. The en suite includes a bath and a shower. We may be based on site, but other than welcoming you when you arrive you probably won't see us, unless you have any questions. You will be able to enjoy a peaceful stay in the countryside. Being located in the heart of walking county it is especially attractive to walkers and cyclists, who will be pleased to find boots and welly cleaning facilities on hand. There is also an area provided to store bikes. This is our only apartment where small /medium dogs are allowed to stay( free of charge). We are based approximately 2 miles outside the historical market town of Much Wenlock.Much Wenlock is home to the Wenlock Olympian Games. These famous games and Dr. William Penny Brookes, the founder, are thought to have inspired the modern Olympic Games that began in 1896, only 6 years after Baron Pierre de Coubertin (the founder of the International Olympic Committee) visited the Games.The well known butcher Paddy Ryan has his shop in the High street, well worth a visit.
