Mount Pleasant Farm - The Curlew & The Hare

The Curlew and Hare is a big, bright room with a bold colour scheme and unique style. With high ceilings and sunny aspect. With a king size bed and 100% cotton sheets you are sure to have a wonderful night’s sleep. Your en-suite is a spacious wet room with beautiful bold tiles and a waterfall shower. There are complimentary toiletries for you to use, plenty of big soft towels and fluffy bathrobes to wrap up in. Mount Pleasant Farm is a detached Somerset longhouse, parts of which date back to the 16th century, set in an acre of semi-wild garden. We are located off a rural lane on the outskirts of Chapel Allerton, a pretty village in the heart of the Somerset countryside. The village is home to a beautiful 13th century church and a local pub, that’s just a few minutes walk from our B&B. We are also less than three miles from the picturesque village of Wedmore, home to some lovely shops, pubs and other eateries. Our four en-suite rooms: The Copper Pear, The Curlew and Hare, The Daisy Room and The Swallows were lovingly renovated during 2016. Each room boasts a king size bed with quality linens, fluffy towels and oversized bathrobes. To make your stay even more enjoyable, we’ve added some luxurious extras – home baked goodies await you, and each room benefits from its own fridge with fresh milk and complimentary bottled water. Guests are welcome to use the garden and grounds to sit back and relax in the evening sunshine. There are chairs on a patio leading from the the front of the house. We also have a outdoor swimming pool which is seasonal Open from May to September from 8am to 8pm. Heated from June to August. If you are not brave enough to go for a swim lots of guests enjoying dipping their toes in on hot sunny days. Although I welcome guests to the property and answer any questions they have, I like to give them space to enjoy the property on there own. I welcome guests down at breakfast time and chat to them while serving breakfasts but mostly want you to feel comfortable as if you were in a home from home and leave them to their own devices! :-) Situated in a pretty rural village with in walking distance to a fantastic family run pub. It is essential to have your own transport as public transport in the area is few and far between. There is a flat screen TV in all the bedrooms with access to free Netflix. You will also have a tea tray with freshly baked goods and an in room mini fridge with fresh milk and complimentary water.
