The apartment sits on the Back Creek in Flora Hill, lined with gum trees & a paved bike/walking track outside your door that connects you to Bendigo & beyond. Self contained w full facilities, including washing machine, kitchen, private yard & comfy queen bed. Telstra TV, Binge & WiFi (NBN). Lockable carport. Pets welcome. **SPECIAL - until early March** PLEASE NOTE BEDROOM WINDOW - - Wrong sized interior blind to bedroom. We are waiting on the correct sized blind - due early March. Window faces private backyard. External blind is lowered and provides shade & privacy but is not block out. Private, self-contained and in a quiet street. Has everything you need for a short or long stay. Large bedroom (queen bed) and spacious, open living area the place is perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. Private parking space in the carport which can be locked for security. Full cooking facilities, en-suite bathroom and separate laundry (with washing machine for your use). Clothes line outside, clothes horse inside. Front court yard with a large, shady lemon tree and a secure and completely private rear yard that is sun drenched in the afternoon. External blinds for shade and interior block out blind in bedroom. Quiet street and excellent for sleeping. Suitable for pets, dog door in the laundry with undercover outdoor sleeping for them. ($50 pet fee) Walking/bike track out the front door connects you to the CBD, Bendigo Hospital, Spring Gully, Epsom and Kangaroo Flat. The train station and the CBD are an easy 1.4km walk along the historic, heritage listed homes of Carpenter Street. La Trobe University and One Tree Hill National Park (excellent walking and hiking trails) are just 1.4km up the road in the other direction (Ellis Street). Only 15 minutes walk into town or a 3 minute drive. 10 minute walk from the Bendigo train station. Bus transport for getting around Bendigo is a block away. Uber is also available in Bendigo. Pets: confirm with us prior please. There is a secure and locked back yard and a dog door that goes directly into this yard. Please BYO own pet bedding and bowls. ($50 pet fee) Babies: welcome but not provided for - please BYO portacot and high chair. A 1.4km walk through historic Bendigo streets with heritage listed homes and the CBD is yours. Great eating and drinking within 500m and breakfast/lunch cafe with great coffee just around the corner. You have a creek with walking/bike path that traverses Bendigo just outside your front door. LaTrobe University and Bendigo National Park (great walking trails) is just over a kilometre in the other direction. There is a very friendly family of Magpies that live over at the creek that you will hear chatting throughout the day. We live nearby and are happy to help or alternatively, leave you in peace to enjoy your stay. Walk or bike on the path that follows the creek into town with some great dining along the way. 2 minute drive into the CBD. Bus stop is one block away. Train station a 10 minute walk. Uber and taxi's also readily available in Bendigo Minimum 2 nights booking. Light breakfast is available in the apartment (free). Basic condiments like olive oil, salt and pepper, sauce etc also at hand. Shampoo, conditioner, soaps, hairdryer etc all provided. Cleaning products, fly spray, natural insect repellent all located under the kitchen sink. Fan, warm & cool blankets all in bedroom cupboards. Magazines and reading materials available. Plenty of charge points with power boards for devices.
