'The Hideaway ' Sole Street, Cobham, Kent.
The Hideaway is situated in the heart of Kent in the rural village of Sole Street, Parish of Cobham & Luddesdown. We are walking distance to Sole Street Station on the Victoria line to London. Ebbsfleet & Meopham are a driving distance away so St Pancras and Victoria can be reached in 17 - 35 minutes. The location is great for people who love long walks & nature as we are surrounded by ancient unspoilt woodlands and rolling hills. We have a choice of three Forestry Commission Parks to visit. The accommodation is a large bright and light studio space with a separate toilet and separate shower room. There is not a kitchen but concealed cupboards housing a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Please see the photograph. We have a very comfortable 5 foot bed. We have tried to provide guests with all home comforts. We have provided Amazon Prime via the Firestick. There is access to a very comfortable decking /patio area with bbq facilities. Those of you who love the coast Whitstable, Margate and Herne Bay are easily accessible by train or car. Visit historic Rochester and explore many of Dickens' haunts. We have many excellent restaurants and pubs. The Leather Bottle is a Dickensian pub with a great ambience and Roy the chef - his specials are not to be missed. Whilst in Cobham pop into our local Community Shop and sample their amazing freshly baked goodies and checkout their gifts. If you have any questions one of our local volunteers will love to help you. If you pop in on a Saturday morning our lovely Michele will greet you with a smile and offer any assistance you may need. Garden decking outside the space - seating, eating & BBQ area Please note guests and their friends have access to free parking on the property subject to available space on the day, but all vehicles are parked at the relevnt owners' own risk. If you prefer to stay in the village enjoy the BBQ we have provided. In the event you run out of an ingredient we have a local convenience store in the village or take an early evening stroll to The Railway Tavern or the Cock in Luddesdown. Why not visit our local National Trust properties OWLETTS & the COBHAM Mausoleum or travel further afield to IGHTHAM MOTE - there is so much to do. For those who love live music come on a Thursday night (not every Thursday) and visit a gig at St Mary Magdalene Church, Cobham held by TWO WOMEN EVENTS - check out the listings on (Website hidden by Airbnb) If you enjoy running there are organised Sunday Runs in Shorne Country Park. Please note we now have a pair of Hybrid bicycles and helmets available to hire.
