Akaka Falls Cottage in Honomu GE/TA174-804-5824-01

Studio cottage with full kitchen, full bath, very private, and beautiful views in every direction. 12 miles north of downtown Hilo, above the quaint little town of Honomu, and just below Akaka Falls. Property is gated. GE/TA (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) R Very private and quiet. The cottage will house 4 people comfortably. The little town of Honomu is just about a mile down the hill. There is Mr. Ed's Bakery, Sharks Coffee, Surf Break Cafe, Skyline Eco Adventures (Zipline), a couple of small shops and a hair salon. We are just about 1.5 miles below Akaka Falls State Park. We also live on the property, but pretty far away. The lot is 27 acres, so we have some distance between each other. We are busy at our house we don't usually socialize too much, unless you need us. As mentioned before, we do have animals and sometime the cows are moo-ing, the horses are running, and the dogs barking....oh, and we have peacocks. The peacocks are scardy cats, they are very noisy too, but so beautiful... they just hang around. Very private, the cottage is on its own section of a 27acre ranch. We have horses, cows, and more.... great neighborhood, everyone is on AG-20 land which means that they all live on 20acres or more. You will need a car, no public transportation....we are above the town, but below the falls. We do have cows, horses, a goat, and dogs. The cottage is gated, so the animals are fenced out of the property, but sometimes they are in the pasture next the your yard...they are sweet. We also have lots of peacocks and peahens, they don't bother, but sometimes they can be a little loud.
