The sitting room features a hardwood floor with rug, 2 double sofas and a 40” TV with free Sky TV. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and a combi boiler. There is a pine dining table with 4 chairs. A high chair and travel cot are available on request. There is a sunny, secure, enclosed rear garden with outdoor furniture including a swing bench provided. A patio and 2 decks provide the perfect space for sunbathing and BBQs with a grassed area for children/pets to play on. Also available is a secure cycle store for at least 2 adult bikes. The house has a private side-driveway with room for 2 cars. Guests have exclusive access to the whole property. There is a 1.8 mile stretch of peaceful, blue flag beach made up of sand and shingle with a quaint promenade. Hornsea Mere is the largest freshwater lake in Yorkshire with a cafe, opportunity for sailing and watching over 250 species of birds. The town also marks the eastern end of the Trans-Pennine Trail suitable for cycling and hiking. There are plenty of family-friendly attractions in Hornsea. Visit in July for the annual carnival and August for the Hornsea Bike Event featuring a popular motorcycle parade. Hornsea Freeport has a variety of outlet stores. There are also a range of small independent shops, bars and restaurants. Tesco is 0.6m away. Other facilities include the Golf Club, indoor bowls and the Floral Hall. Honeysuckle Farm is a family friendly attraction featuring a range of farm & small animals which is popular with children. Mr Moos ice cream is 5.6 miles away. Nearby is the historic market town of Beverley with its famous Minister and markets on a Wednesday and Saturday. Hull, the City of Culture for 2017-21 is home to a perfect mix of shopping, attractions/museums (many free) and nightlife. You can easily walk or cycle to all of the amenities in Hornsea. There is car parking for the beach and the town centre although these tend to be very busy during peak holiday weekends. To get around East Yorkshire you really need a car. There is a bus service to Beverley and Hull within two minutes walking distance from the property. Up to 2 well behaved dogs are allowed to stay at the property for no extra charge. This is on the basis that if any damage is done, you declare it during your stay and pay for any repairs/replacements needed as a result. Message me if you would like to bring additional dogs.
