The neighbourhood is in Golden Point and you will find Sovereign Hill is Ballarat's main attraction that is 5 minutes walk from Lake Esmond Place. There is Lake Esmond which is 2 minutes walk where you can enjoy strolling through nature, do some fishing, playground and BBQ area. In Main Road there is various restaurant's including Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indian, Italian and fish and chips. Zagamis has a massive playground with bistro meals that is 2 minutes drive and in the other direction also 2mins drive there is the Red Lion with meals anytime. In either direction with only 5 minutes drive there is supermarkets and a petrol station a short 1 minute drive. From Lake Esmond Place it is a 1 minute walk to the bus stop in Main Road. Take bus 21 either way it will take you into town and the Railway Station or the other way is little country town called Buninyong. There is riding and walking routes all along Main Road that runs right along the end of your street. Lookout for the burgundy bus in CBD as this is a free bus. Lake Wendouree is another place to visit Where you can walk around the 6 klm and enjoy stopping for a coffee or a bite to eat along the way.
