Adorable Private Room with Desk and Rocking Chair

Private adorable & sunny room w/ cozy bed (new mattress), fluffy pillows, extra blankets, towels, rocking chair, and old fashioned antique desk with chair. Empty closet w/hangers and lots of shelving. Shared kitchen w/ appliances and utensils, dining room & bathroom share (brand new fixtures and appliances, newly decorated). Filtered water. Laundry room. Backyard use (in summer and spring), deck, outdoor table/chairs. WIFI. Warm and friendly household. Perfect for medical students with residencies at nearby hospitals, travelers on business and anyone who would like a nice relaxing stay in a nice cozy house. Your room is private. There was s a shared kitchen, dining room, bathroom, steam shower, backyard, deck, laundry room. I am always available if you need me. Close to universities and LIJ Hospitals (great location for Med students). Close to LIRR train to Manhattan and easy walk to bus line to Manhattan and NYC subways. Ten minute drive into Metropolitan Queens, NY. Close to great shopping malls, grocery stores and pharmacies. Easy street parking. Safe and quiet neighborhood. 11 miles (about a 25 minute drive to the Long Beach Boardwalk and Oceanfront (gorgeous!). Also 25 minute drive to plenty of other LI beaches. Car (plenty of street parking), bike, bus (goes to subway), Long Island Railroad, Uber, reliable and cost effective taxi service nearby. Easy walk to convenience stores, Delis, restaurants (I recommend King Umbertos the absolute best Italian food you will find), take out and fast food places, a local gym and pharmacies (RiteAid is the closest). Nearby parks. No other guest visitors unless they are registered beforehand. You must walk up a standard staircase to get to your bedroom on the second floor. The bathroom you use is nearby on the first floor close to the staircase. There is a small Yorkshire Terrier in the house who is elderly, eccentric and sweet. He will not go in your room but may say hi to you at the front door. You must be okay with small dogs. This is a friendly upbeat household with a few guests but you will get all the privacy you need. Keep in mind the bedroom linens and decor are subject to change as needed so the photo may be slightly different.
