Family-Friendly Escape, get away from it all!

Ready to get away from it all? Your family will enjoy the seclusion and peace at this cozy cottage on the Puget Sound. The property has over a half acre of year-round vegetation - making anytime the perfect time to visit! The property has a staircase down to your own beach with fire pit. You can walk on the beach in either direction, usually without seeing another soul. The cottage also has canoes, a rowboat, three standup paddle boards, and four kayaks with life vests, if your family would like to explore the water. If you just want to sit back, relax, and take in the views, you are likely to see some of the extensive wildlife that calls this area home. This cottage is in the flight path of a pair of bald eagles and they will often give you a flyover while you sit on the deck enjoying a meal. The yard also attracts hummingbirds most of the year. Seals and river otter have been spotted playing on the beach in front of the cottage as well. Occasionally a transient orca or pod of porpoises will swim past as well. The interior of the home has been completely remodeled. The cottage sleeps six, but can be made to accommodate two more, for an additional fee, for a total of eight. The downstairs bunk room has one set of bunkbeds and a twin daybed that can be pulled out into a king. The upstairs loft has a king bed with memory foam mattress. The living room has a sofa that becomes a queen size bed. All bedding is provided. The cottage features one bathroom with a refinished, vintage clawfoot tub and shower. The kitchen has full size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, and washer/dryer. This cottage is 'off the grid.' It does NOT have cable, wi-fi, or phone. There is a TV in the living room with one local news channel and a VCR/DVD player with an extensive VHS library. Smart phones work well at this location.
