The house is located in the heart of the village among established tree lines, beautiful brick homes, brick streets, ironwork and brick sidewalks. It's like living in a giant park. We are on a lively corner. Next door is our local-made gift shop, The Red Stable, and Schmidt's Sausage Haus, a very popular destination restaurant and tourist attraction. There are several other restaurants, bars, shops and parks in the neighborhood. Just north of us is downtown Columbus with a beautiful riverfront walkway. There are many restaurants and bars. Then just north of downtown is The Short North Arts district. The streets are lined with shops, galleries, restaurants, bars and clubs. It's the most hippest part of Columbus. You can take a free circulator bus (The Cbus) from German Village through town to The Short North every day. You can also rent bikes and scooters everywhere. Places of interest downtown: Columbus Museum of Art, Franklin Park Conservatory, Vet's Memorial, COSI (Center for Science & industry). Live venues include Shadowbox Live and check (Website hidden by Airbnb) for live theatre tickets, performances and venues. Keep going a little further North on High Street and you'll hit Buckeye Country! The Ohio State University and famous OSU Horseshoe stadium. Other sports teams and venues include The Columbus Blue Jackets hockey, The Columbus Crew Soccer, and The Columbus Clippers baseball stadiums located downtown.
