The Granary is very pretty from the outside and has a large secure dog proof garden. The Granary is very pretty from the outside and this continues through to the comfortable and attractive interior. The well-equipped, large kitchen has ample work and storage space as well as an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a dining table and chairs. The attractive living area has comfortable sofas and chairs, a TV with DVD player, music stereo and a woodburning stove. There are French doors leading out to the patio. Bedroom 1: Large King-size bedroom with en suite and shower, Bedroom 2: a twin room, bedroom 3 double bed. All rooms are light and bright. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, toilet and handbasin. The Granary is ideally located for those interested in visiting the pubs and restaurants that have put this region of the country on the "good food map". There are many notably superb places to eat close by. These include two Michelin starred restaurants, The Walnut Tree and The Crown at Whitebrook. The Granary is also within easy reach of the Bell at Skenfrith, and the Hardwick Restaurant. In Abergavenny you will find other exciting places to eat there is prize-winning afternoon tea at the Angel, you could get a trendy coffee in the Bean and Bread, for local pub food there is the Growfield pub, or a spot of lunch at The Chapel. The Granary is 3 miles from the local market town Abergavenny. Abergavenny has been a market town for centuries and holds markets on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday in and behind the town Hall. Every September Abergavenny holds a fantastic and extremely popular food festival. There is plenty of space beside the cottage for 2 cars. There is a train station in Abergavenny. There is parking for 2 cars at the cottage
