Libellule holiday apartment

Libellule is a bright , modern , well equipped holiday apartment with independent access and parking.The property is adjacent to the main house which is our home with two chambre d’hôtes therefore we are always on hand for your convenience. Libellule sleeps 4 comfortably with a modern bathroom and shower .The kitchen / diner is light and airy with a table and 4 chairs . Outside is a covered seating area with table and 4 chairs . Relaxers are provided for those stay at home days in the garden . Libellule is situated in the peaceful hamlet of Bret . The apartment is adjacent to the main house which is our home so we are always available for any help or information required. Libellule is westerly facing so the garden is sunny all day long with pretty sunset views in the evening. There is a covered outdoor dining area and a large grassed garden for relaxing . Guests at Libellule have access to an enclosed garden space for relaxing and recreation. Although we are discreet and quiet we are always available to guests for any help or information about the surrounding area or any other help during their stay . Guests are more than welcome to contact us before their stay for any information that may be useful to them . The hamlet of Bret consists of a handful of properties nestling quietly together . Libellule sits on a bank in the hamlet with far reaching countryside views. Mostly the only sound you hear is the voice of the garden . The nearby villages of Coussac-Bonneval and Lubersac have all the everyday amenities you would require . A 15 minute drive brings you to the medieval town of St. Yrieix la Perche . St Yrieix with its Friday market has a leisure centre , a swimming lake with beach and lots of events during the months of July and August. Libellule is ideally placed in Haute Vienne at the gateway to the Corrèze and the Dordogne. On the doorstep you will find one of the most beautiful villages in France , Ségur-le-Château . A charming place on the banks of the River Auvézère with 12th century castle ruins and buildings dating from the 15th/16th centuries. A super place to explore and take in the evening summer market where you can enjoy local produce in a lively atmosphere with musical entertainment. Fancy an afternoon at the races ? Close by is Arnac-Pompadour , home to the National Stud of France. With its busy summer racing calendar and it’s Chateau Pompadour is not to be missed ! As Libellule is only 15 minutes from the A20 motorway the cities of Limoges to the North and Brive to the south are easily accessible. This gives visitors the opportunity to explore many of the interesting places in the region. Within a short drive from Libellule there is a choice of swimming lakes with beaches , the largest being Base de Loisirs de Rouffiac which has a range of other amenities including waterskiing, climbing , archery , canoeing and many more . A car is essential.
