Lyttelton, a quaint historical town is 20 minutes drive south east from the Christchurch city center. The harbour was formed 11 million years ago when a massive volcano erupted and the sea filled the crater. Harbour Lodge offers you the unique experience of amazing sunrises, colourful sunsets and panoromic views of moving ships, ferries, boats and yachts. A short stroll down the hill is local cafes, restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, library, art gallery and tourist attractions. Public transport is 10 minutes' walk away. We are 20 minutes to Christchurch central city and 35 minutes from Christchurch Airport. Local ski field Methven, natural hot springs Hanmer Springs and wineries are 1-1.5 hours' drive from Lyttelton. We have a puppy, Obi is not allowed in guest rooms and guest lounges. He is our resident pet, no other pets are allowed on the property.
