Built in the mid 19th Century down a private lane in rural Cheshire, Eden Cottage sleeps 5 guests in 3 bedrooms, with 2 super-king beds (or twins) and a single. Luxurious bed linen, towels and complimentary toiletries are included.  The Cottage also includes a bath and rainshower, sunny living room with wood burning stove, dining room, utility with washer dryer and a large modern fully equipped kitchen with bifold doors leading out on to the secure garden, bbq and decked seating areas. With fabulous restaurants, breathtaking walks, limitless cycling, water-sports, golf courses and traditional country pubs all just minutes away, Eden Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the very best of what North West England and North Wales has to offer. The beautiful 34 mile long Sandstone Trail and Iron Age hill forts are a leisurely five minute walk from the Cottage, whilst Delamere Forest, Beeston, Peckforton and Cholmondeley Castles are within easy reach by car or bike. Across the border into North Wales there are stunning beaches, mountains and more castles to explore. The historic market town of Frodsham is less than one mile away and offers a wide range of shops including a deli and wine merchant, traditional baker and greengrocer along with pubs, restaurants and cafes housed in some of the town’s historic 17th Century listed buildings. Guests have access to the whole house. We live close to Eden Cottage and will personally welcome you on your arrival, pre-lighting the wood burning stove and providing essential groceries if required. We have lived in Frodsham for 18 years and can provide recommendations for local award winning pubs, restaurants and days out. In addition to the stunning walks and historic market town of Frodsham, Eden Cottage is ideally located for exploring Chester’s Roman Amphitheatre, famous Eastgate Clock, Medieval Rows, Cathedral and extensive shopping, along with the McArthur Glen Cheshire Oaks designer shopping outlet.  Liverpool and Manchester City centres are also easily accessible by train or car. If you are looking for something a little more adrenaline filled during your stay, Hoverforce, Catton Hall, GoApe and Cheshire Aquapark are all within a few minutes of the Cottage. A little further afield you will find Oulton Park race track, ZipWorld, BounceBelow and white water rafting, whilst Snowdon, the highest mountain in England and Wales offers a more challenging experience. Eden Cottage is conveniently located close to the M56 and M6 motorways and within 25 minutes drive of both Manchester and Liverpool airports. The nearest railway station is just 10 minutes walk away making Manchester, Liverpool and Chester easily accessible. Within an easy walk of the Cottage you will find the Sandstone Trail, Iron Age Hill Forts and award winning pubs and restaurants.
