If you are looking for the crowds you are within 12 minutes in the middle of the city of Faro or on the beach. Casa da Aldeia is also a good base for the whole Algarve. Vista da Aldeia has a patio with seating, living/ sleeping room and bathroom with shower. You can use free wifi. Bed linen, towels, coffee, tea and kettle are available. If you want to leave the car at home: from Santa Bárbara de Nexe is a bus connection to Faro. Algarve has an excellent bus network.
