Doukades is one of the most picturesque and beautiful villages in the northern part of Corfu. It is a traditional settlement built of stone, just 20 km away from the city of Corfu and 4 km from the cosmopolitan area of Paleokastritsa. Another remarkable place in Doukades is the primary school of Venetian architecture which is located at the entrance of the village. There is also a path which leads to an old chapel, where you can enjoy the magnificent view of Paleokatritsa and the nearby villages.
