The Linney - Budleigh Farm, Moretonhampstead.

Update 15th August - After a fire on the farm the cottage has temporary electric heaters, the pool is unheated and parking is 100 yards away. Prices have been adjusted accordingly. The Linney is one of seven self-catering cottages at Budleigh Farm. Each cottage has a unique character and there are some shared facilities - an outdoor pool May to September, tabletennis room, barbecues, garden or patio. Situated in the Dartmoor National Park, surrounded by beautiful countryside. We are a small hill farm with easy access by road. The Wray Valley Cycle Trail passes through the farm and a footpath climbs the hill at the back. We also have target shooting facilities available to all standards of marksmanship. Wherever possible we use environmentally friendly cleaning products and Fairtrade. Guests are free to explore the farm. We live on site and will be on call for any advice or help but will otherwise leave you in peace. The small friendly town of Moretonhampstead is two minutes by car. It is a local hub for arts and crafts. There are three excellent pubs serving quality food, two cafes and a tearoom. The is a motor museum, information centre, an art gallery, shops, potteries and more. Dartmoor is the perfect place for long beautiful walks. You can also walk to Moretonhampstead on the cycle path.
