Casa Leonarda, Istrian stone house near Motovun
Casa Leonarda is an authentic stone Istrian house and the perfect place to rest and relax from the city noise, crowds, obligations and accumulated stress. The house can accomodate up to 5 people, and is located in the Istrian village of Krti, 6 kilometers away from Motovun. The house is decorated in a rustic spirit, outside and inside. Although part of the village, Casa Leonarda offers privacy and intimacy. Resting on the terrace overlooking the Mirna River is a special reward for the soul. The house has 3 floors - ground floor with the kitchen and dinning room with a fireplace, middle floor which is a living room, with a sofa bed suitable for sleeping, and a bedroom with three beds in the attic (one double and one single bed). With birds chirping and some chickens and dogs making sounds, all the city worries will seem far away. Given the proximity of the Parenzana bike trail, but also other biking possibilities, this house is especially suitable for cyclists who can safely store their favorite vehicles inside a fenced yard or in the house. As for the motor vehicle, there is a parking space for one car in front of the house. The beautiful Motovun town, the river Mirna with beautiful promenades, the bike path Parenzana, Istrian spas, a number of restaurants where you can taste Istrian specialties including dishes with truffles, fine local wines and other indigenous products...everything just a few miles away. In less than 30 minutes by car you can swim in the Novigrad sea and enjoy the entire Poreč coast. Within an hour's drive there are other attractions: Istralandia, Aquacolors, Dinopark for children.. Apart from cyclists, gourmands and recreationists, this location is interesting for all film, history and culture lovers, but also agritourism, tasting truffles and quality wine or - simply - exploring new places and natural beauties of wonderful Istria.
