Sky Garden Mallorca is a vegetarian house with a pool and spectacular views of the mountains and ancient town of Bunyola. Hidden in theTramuntana Mountains (UNESCO heritage) modern yet bohemian-style home is surrounded by a lush Mediterranean garden with fruit and almond trees. An ideal place to disconnect from everyday life and enjoy privacy and nature. While offering all of the advantages of a mountain house, it’s only a 3 minutes’ walk to the town’s square with bars and restaurants. Placed on a hill side, above the roofs of Bunyola, the house features 2 double bedrooms (equiped with AC) and 2 bathrooms. Our guests enjoy the spacious outdoor summer kitchen, perfect for a meal on a warm long night. A large swimming pool (3mx8m) overlooks the entire valley, a historic part of the town and offers a view of the sea in the distance. The garden has many unique spots to bask in the sun and cool off in the shade. The house is not directly accessible by car but you can park for free on the town’s streets (7min. walk from the house). Anyway, be prepared to climb some stairs to get to the house, but we promise it's worth the views and privacy you'll get in return. As the property is located on the ancient terraces, there is also an old custom still alive in these lands that neighbours share paths. Hence don’t be surprised to meet our neighbor, who occassionaly uses the path on the pool level. Bunyola is one of the last authentic Mallorcan towns untouched by mass tourism. It is also a great starting point for excursions into the mountains and excellent for cycling enthusiasts as the town sits at the crossroads of popular cycling routes. The town is well-connected and close to Palma so a car is not a must but if you do hire one, the smaller the better because Mallorcan streets are narrow. If you hire a scooter (highly recommended!) you can park it very close to the house. For those looking to explore, the citrus groves, sandy beach and picturesque harbour of Port de Soller are only 15 minutes away by car (14km). You can also get there (or to Palma) aboard an antique wooden train (one of Mallorca’s most treasured attractions), which stops only 10 min. on foot from the house. Bunyola is only 25 minutes from the airport. You cannot miss a visit to the following villages nearby: Valldemossa, Sóller, Fornalutx, etc. Nearest golf course, Golf Son Muntaner, is located 18 km away form the town.
