Doxie Cottage

Doxie Cottage is part of a former farmhouse dating back to the early 19th century. It has recently been sympathetically restored to provide self-contained accommodation for up to 6 people. Accommodation in Doxie Cottage comprises a Master Bedroom, a second bedroom which sleeps three, a Bathroom, Kitchen Diner and Living Room with an additional pull-out bed. The property also benefits from an outside terrace equipped with furniture and a BBQ. This a whole property rental. Access to the property is via the shared driveway. We are available most of the time for any help or information. Situated in the quintessentially French village of Saint-Chabrais, Doxie Cottage is ideally situated to explore Both the Limousin and Auvergne Regions in the north of the Massif Central, as well as the picturesque southern parts of the Val de Loire. As a small commune, Saint-Chabrais has limited public transport, as such we would advise all guests to have their own mode of transport. The small town of Chenerailles is a 5 minute drive away, with a Boulangerie, Bocherie, Tabac and a Bank. A larger supermarket can be found in Gouzon, just 10 minutes to the North. Within Saint Chabrais, there is a bar-restaurant offering a range of dishes and drinks.
