Selah Cottage, Afan Forest Park

This renovated cottage is perfect for outdoor getaways. Within Afan Forest Park it has easy access to mountain bike trails (the 'Wall' runs to the rear of the house and Rhyslyn is just a short walk down the road), walks and fishing. The cottage has very secure bike storage and tools. It is set in glorious countryside with superb views. Within driving distance of the Beacons and the Gower, beaches and mountains are all available to you. This lovely cottage has been refurbished to a high standard with high quality furnishings and equipment. It is perfect for walkers, families and mountain bikers alike. There is a 6 bike secure ASGARD BIKE SHED with power/lighting to work on bikes along with hose, jet wash and tools. There is an outdoor seating area with fire pit/bbq. Please note that the bathroom is on the ground floor. Bike access is to the rear of the property. We live close by and you are very welcome to contact us should you need anything. The village has 2 pubs. The Collier's Arms is open all week long and serves food. The Miner's Arms (opposite) is open Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. There is a grocery shop a few doors up the hill on your left. Next to the shop is a pizza/kebab shop. There is also a small Tesco and CK's in the nearby village of Cimla. Neath is the nearest large town with supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, cinema and a lively music scene. Although there are buses, a car is definitely an advantage, and of course a bike. Dogs are welcome but we do ask that any damage be compensated for. We do our best to be flexible with check in/out times. Please get in touch if you need a different time.
