Monesi is a detached three bedroom home in the centre in the historic village of Washford hosted by West Somerset Breaks. With a hot tub, log burner and large outdoor space it makes for the perfect Somerset break away! The house is perfect for families, friends and couples alike, as well as up to two well behaved dogs. Situated in the centre of the village just off of the A39 it is in easy walking distance to well rated pubs and lots of attractions including the Steam Railway and Cleeve Abbey. The master bedroom has a superking bed, and the two further bedrooms have double beds. There's a family sized bathroom as well as a stylish wetroom. The kitchen comes complete with everything to make your stay a pleasant one. There's a separate dining room and large decking area for alfresco dining and cooking on the BBQ! Our four seater hot tub is brand new for summer 2021 and the large garden is the perfect space to enjoy the weather. Our guests will also have access on request to a large garage enough to store something as big as a kayak in or the families bikes. We can even store several motorbikes in there on request! We have a log burner which will come stocked with logs, it lives in the dining room, which has a large table. We have also recently purchased a brand new sofa bed to give our guests more flexibility for their stay. We welcome young infants to our house and have a travel cot, high chair and stair gates available on request. To give our guests the best possible experience we've started writing a blog and documenting our reviews and recommendations in the local area. You can find out more by visiting westsomerset.breaks on Insta-gram. We also have a washing machine available in the utility room for guests to use as they wish during their stay. One final thing to note - the large driveway, easily fitting five cars is being resurfaced this year - this is for aesthetic reasons only and does not affect it's usage. Full private access to the house, grounds and driveaway. Washford is a small village on the edge of Exmoor while also benefitting from being close to the beautiful coastline (just a five minute drive to the nearest beach). The village has two well rated pubs just a short walk away and a cider farm around a ten minute walk away, which serves food and has animals and play equipment for children. Some of it's attractions include the English Heritage site Cleeve Abbey and the West Somerset Steam Railway. The historic Washford to Watchet mineral line is perfect for a 45 minute walk to the ancient harbour town of Watchet or else a lovely bike ride suitable for all abilities. We live opposite the property and will be available to help with any issues. The house is perfectly placed to walk to many of the area’s top visitor attractions including the West Somerset Steam Railway and Washford Railway Museum, English Heritage site; Cleeve Abbey, Torre Cider Farm and the 19th century Washford to Watchet mineral line. There are also two highly rated pubs in the village and a local Post Office/ shop a short walk from the house. The property benefits from a large drive which several cars can use (please note we are resurfacing the driveway this summer - this is for aesthetic reasons and does not affect it's use before it is done). It's located next to the A39 so public transport is easily accessible within a minutes walk away. Buses run regularly to the seaside town of Minehead and towards the County town of Taunton where a well connected train station runs trains from all across the country. In a car you can access some of the most beautiful places on Exmoor within minutes, while Minehead is just seven miles away and the traditional harbour town of Watchet, just three miles. We will pop by twice a day to check on the chemical levels in the hot tub. We'll do our best to do this early in the morning or when our guests are out! The cottage is set back off of the A39 - the road to Minehead. The house is in a residential area so we ask guests to be considerate of our neighbours and avoid using the hot tub between 10pm and 7am or playing loud music.
