Mary's Old Mill with free parking

The apartment is situated in the first floor above the old water mill at the main square in the center of Ilirska Bistrica. There are two entrances to the apartment from the ground floor (no elevator). In the ground floor you will find three separated toilets and a shower. Going up to the first floor the apartment offers two rooms with two single beds and one of the rooms has a table for 2 or 3 people. Little kitchen with an electric cooker, coffee machine and a refrigerator lies alongside both rooms giving a perfect independent time for a family of 4. Continuing to the main hall you will find a bright and large dining room with a big table (8 - 10 people) and a direct view of the river which runs below the house itself. The hall itself has over 70 square meters and is also suitable for meetings and events. Left of the main hall a spacious room opens below the arch and is not separated from the main hall. In this room four or more beds can be organized in a dormitory style. There's also a small bar where coffee and drinks can be served in case of a party. There is an aircondition in the apartment, but it never really gets to hot as the river runs under the house providing a perfect climate even in hot summer days. Public parking is free on the main square just in front of the house. Bikers can use a private garage where at least 4 motorbikes can be stored. Old Mill There were 18 watermills on just few km river flow in Ilirska Bistrica. Mary's old mill is the only one in the old center where the whole indoor mechanism is preserved and can be shown to the guests upon request. There's also a café in the house where you can have morning coffee from 6 AM or enjoy drinks till as late as 1AM. On the main square you'll also find a restaurant, a fish market, a vegetable/fruit market, a butcher shop, a kebab shop and some ice cream. Small grocery store is just across the street, to a supermarket Tus it's a 10 min walk. Location: Ilirska bistrica also known as 'The gate of the Adriatic sea' is situated on the road that leads to the all of the Croatia's islands and the famous Dubrovnik, so it's a perfect pit stop to spend a night for people that drive from far away (marked with X in one of the photo's).
