The bedroom is inside an apartment used for tourist rental. The kitchen, the living room and the balcony are common areas available for the guests. Train station to/from Rome (to/from Fiumicino Airport) just 8 minutes on foot!! Monterotondo city, Rome and highway exit in a few kilometers. Area with shops, supermarkets, restaurants and services. The bedroom, characterized by the green color, is furnished in a sober and functional way and equipped with all comforts. The bathroom, inside the room, includes a large and comfortable shower and a window that overlooks the private balcony and is furnished with table and chairs for relaxing outdoors. The bedroom is located inside a completely renovated apartment and is furnished with new furniture and original decorative elements. In the living room you can have fun reading a book or watching a film. The kitchen, equipped with all useful appliances and crockery, allows guests to prepare dishes to enjoy or to sip a good glass of wine in peace. The neighborhood offers many services, all comfortably within walking distance: supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, car rents, polyclinics, banks and agencies, laundries and so on..However, being outside the city center, the area remains quiet, not chaotic. In a few minutes (also by bus) you can reach the center of Monterotondo, a city north of Rome (about 20 kilometers away), rich in history and culture (to visit the Archaeological Museum, the Orsini Palace, Porta Garibaldi, the Duomo). There are numerous shops, parks for the children, but also pubs, restaurants, a cinema, for fun and entertainment. The nightlife (especially summer) in the main street and through the streets of the characteristic old town is particularly lively. For sports lovers, there are sport centers, a pool, tennis courts, gyms and a long cycle path. In addition, for people who want trips out of town, along the ancient Via Salaria it is possible to reach the hilly area of Sabina. Rich in picturesque medieval villages (as the Farfa Abbey) it is known for extra virgin olive oil which enriches typical dishes served in the many local farmhouses and restaurants. Finally, for shopping enthusiasts, just 10 minutes by car, stands the "Porta di Roma" shopping center which, with the numerous shops of the most famous brands, restaurants and multiplex cinema, is one of the largest in Italy. Strategic position: Monterotondo railway station is a few minutes walk away (frequency of trains every 10 minutes). In 20/25 minutes (by train) you can reach Rome Tiburtina station (the same railway from/to Fiumicino Airport) from which, by metro or bus, you can visit all the most important sites of historical and cultural interest of Rome without having traffic and parking problems, avoiding the chaos of the city. As an alternative to the train you can choose the bus to/from Rome; the bus stop can be reached on foot. If you travel by car the highway exit is Fiano Romano (a few kilometers from Monterotondo). Finally, the Via Salaria (an ancient Roman road) is connected to the G.R.A, a high-speed road, which allows you to reach every area of the Capital, but also the Lazio Coast and the two airports (Fiumicino and Ciampino). Children are welcome!! Up to 6 years old they can stay free of charge when using the existing double bed. For children up to 4 years a cot/crib is available at no extra cost.
