The Mews is located in a quiet residential area & in easy walking distance of the heart of town and the Yeats Summer School. You have 2 shops & local pub less than a minute walk. The apartment is warm & cosy with modern furnishings, smart TV, wifi & electric heating/water; a double bedroom & living room with open plan kitchen. Your apartment, is on the 1st floor and at the front of the property. It has just been renovated for your comfort and has a grey, silver & white theme. The bedroom has a comfy double bed with salt lamp, built in wardrobes and a rug. Across the hallway is your shower room and toilet with soap, shampoo & conditioner. In the living room you have a reclining couch, smart TV, USB charging sockets & modern decor. There's also a cosy rug to sink your toes into of an evening. Just off to the side is your kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, oven, hob, microwave, etc. The cupboards have some condiments for cooking your meals. The apartment is heated by modern electric wall heaters and the emersion heats the water for you. I hope your stay will be comfortable and happy so please let me know if there's anything more you need. You have the apartment entirely to yourself. Your key is held securely for you in a code protected lock box at the front door. You also have access to the garden at the back of the property. From the moment you book, you'll have access to me via the Airbnb app, (Hidden by Airbnb) , phone and text to assist you with any queries. Please text before calling to let me know it's you and not one of those scam callers. Whatever you need I will do my best to accommodate. The Mews is located uphill on Mail Coach Road which is a friendly, quiet, mainly residential area just beside the main streets of the town itself. The Applegreen filling station, Christy's Supermarket and Caheny's Pub are about a minutes walk either side. Within walking distance also you have various religious churches and places of worship, the Theatre, our Tourist Information Office and the Peace Park. A slightly longer walk will take you to Sligo Racecourse with regular meets during the summer months. Beside it is the Sports Complex with a swimming pool, gym, indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The Garavogue river & walks are there to. You can enjoy a trip on Lough Gill and see Yeat's Innisfree Island. Along the rivers edge you'll find the outdoor gym and playgrounds as you follow the path. Remember to bring some food for the ducks and swans but make sure it's health promoting;- for instance, corn, grapes, oats, wheat, lettuce, vegetable trimmings and peas are all much more suitable and safe than dry bread which is known to cause severe health issues for all types of our feathered friends. For us humans, Sligo offers many amazing culinary experiences with its vast array of fine restaurants, cafes and pub food choices. Check out the Sligo Food Trail online. Watch out also for darts and a good sing song in Caheny's down the Street with its reputation for Sligo's finest example of draught Guinness and a pizza. There's lots to see, do & experience in walking distance from Your Place in the Yeats County. Sligo offers a fantastic network of transport options to choose from with its train link to Dublin and nationwide bus services. For your local needs, Sligo has a host of well run taxi services and there's also a 24 hour bus service to & from Dublin airport. The property is maintained pet free for the comfort and safety of my guests. Should a guest breach this very important house rule, there will be a charge of €100 to provide for deep cleaning of the apartment. Any property damaged will be itemised and charged for in addition to the €100.
