The Stables 3-bed cottage, within a walled garden. We are five minutes walk from the centre of Ulverston. The Lake District is not far away, with Coniston Water being a 15 min drive. Ulverston is a beautiful old market town, with plenty of bars/restaurants. The town also hosts an array of festivals all year, including a beer festival, Dickensian, Printfest, Another Fine Fest, and an International Music Festival. It is also the birthplace of Stan Laurel, with a museum dedicated to Laurel & Hardy. The Stables is only five minute walk from the town centre but is in a very quiet location. It is situated in a walled garden. The bedrooms are spread across the ground and first floor and are all en-suite. The largest room has spa bath & walk-in shower. There is also a large lounge with television and a log burning stove for cozy winter nights. The property has it's own dedicated WiFi network, separate to the rest of the house. There is also large fitted kitchen fully equipped with plenty of utensils and crockery. The house has access to a balcony, and dedicated dining/seating area. Use of BBQ facilities are also available. Guests have access to the whole house We run a Bed & Breakfast adjacent to the property, so are always on hand for anything you may require :-) The Stables is situated on the edge of the Lake District National Park in the Market Town of Ulverston. We are perfectly situated to explore the Furness Peninsula & the Western Lake District. Access to Eskdale, The Duddon Valley and Wasdale are all within easy driving distance. Also the Central Lakes are easily accessible, with Windermere, Ambleside, Coniston & Langdale all within a picturesque 30 minute drive away. We have private parking for up to 2 cars available on site, and further on-street parking available just outside the main gate. The centre of town is a 5-10 minute walk and you can get to either the bus or train station in a 10-15 minute walk. The J36 of the M6 is a 30 minute drive. We are situated just below the Sir John Barrow Monument on Hoad Hill. The footpath to this starts just outside of our main gateway, and is a great walk to do straight from the doorstep.
