Charming apartment with mountain view and garden arbor to relax outside, 5 minutes walking distance to the lake The apartment has a spacious master bedroom with a king size bed, a second little bedroom with 2 single beds (cable tv is available in rooms), a central living room with a sleeping couch, a fully equipped kitchen and a big bathroom.. Your apartment is located on the ground floor of our family home with a private entrance and garden arbor to sit outside and enjoy the mountain view. Altough you have total privacy we are available for any help you need. Our family home is beautifully located at the edge of a forest/private street. The walking distance to the Lake Traunsee is only 5 minutes but far enough to be spared from the traffic noise! The location is a great starting point to explore the beautiful area with its many possibilities for outdoor acitivies. You can also rent a bike from us for EUR 5 per day. The lake Traunsee and restaurants (a very good fish restaurant, where you usually can get fresh fish from the Lake and a family friendly Italian restaurant as well as a cantina for eating fish) are in walking distance (about 190 m) The centre of Altmünster is about 3 km, where all shops you may need are located (super market, hair dresser, beautician etc). A larger shoppinng mall is in Gmunden, about 7 km away. 2,4 km to the nearest gas station. 27 km to the thermal spa in Bad Ischl. 10 km to the nearest skiing region. Everwhere along the Lake you can find restaurants, nice cafes and places to go for a swim or rent a boat to explore the lake. Many water acitivies are provided. Possible to arrive from the airports Linz, Salzburg, Vienna or Munich A train station (Altmünster am Traunsee) is 2,6 km away, from where you can rent a cab to our house, depending on our availabilty we may also pick you up. Free Private parking space for one car is on the property, additional parking space is available for 5 Euros/night! Our apartment is on the ground floor and barrier-free! The local tourist tax ( 2 Euro from 15 years on per day/person) has to be paid in cash on arrival. No unannounced additional guests!
